1 Timothy 4:12-16

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers in word in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with layering on of the hands of the presbytery. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them: that thy profiting may appear to all. Take heed unto thyself , and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this, thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

Experience life on the edge with "Cutting Edge," we're a local, family oriented youth ministry excited about helping this young generation mature and develop in their relationship with God as well asto help them discover and utilize every ounce of talent and ability given to them and direct it towards positive influence. This is not church as usual. Be prepared to be changed, utilized, and become effective for a successful lifestyle. 

We are currently meeting every  2nd & 4th Sunday at 6:30 PM. 

We work with building and developing the youth in their communities and schools!

Michael & Aisha Mariner have been members of Spirit Life Ministries for over 14 years and has served in a leadership role for majority of the time spent.

 Michael,was licensed as a Minister June 28th, 2009
under the leadership of Apostle Jarvis L. Marshall. As a call to action, he was asked by Apostle Marshall to spear the start up of the youth ministry. After serving multiple roles faithfully and being committed and proven under the leadership of Apostle Jarvis L. Marshall and Dr. Lynn Marshall he received his Ordination of Youth Pastor April 2, 2017. He is the founder of our annual Transformers Youth Conference, Team Chaplain for the AHS Bloodhounds, FCA Volunteer, and a very active voice within the community. Michael uses his adversity to help build people and let them know that with hard work and consistency you too can be successful in whatever space God has called you to.

He's the Founder/CEO of Shift Motivations,a company created to motivate, empower, inspire, and equip individuals and organizations to take action and make the shift in fulfilling their life’s purpose and live out their greatness by embracing the changes necessary to receive the level of success desired. He believes that it is important to not only adapt to the changes that come with the ages of time but to also create the change that shifts momentum for success.He's also an author, motivational speaker and certified life coach and enjoys impacting lives for the greater cause.He's reached the lives of many students on school campuses, events and programs, etc. He's received great reviews of his impact on our youth and considered a great leader of young men by one of our local coaches. He is energy in motion and loves people. Michael and Aisha will soon be married 20 years and have 2 daughters. In his spare time you can find him mentoring, reading or in the gym.

Aisha is no stranger to servitude as well. She has faithfully served on the praise team and is also the Kids World Director. Aisha has a bubbly personality that attracts many to her. She loves impacting the lives of women and sharing her story of adversity on how she fought through depression and suicide to become the virtuous woman that she is and strives to be each and everyday. Aisha received her Ministerial licensing on April 2, 2017 . She now serves as the Founder of the (Real Authentic Women) “R.A.W” Women’s Empowerment movement; a movement geared towards motivating, inspiring, and empowering women of all walks of life with identifying their authentic purpose through encouragement, support, and applicable knowledge for everyday living through practical means with a faith-based foundation.

She is also the Founder/CEO of Iami’s Creations, a company that specializes in customized jewelry. In her spare time she enjoys self and personal development and loves to work with her gifted hands by creating those wonderful, customizable pieces that her customers love. You can find her mentoring young ladies of various ages and walks of life. She’s great with children and loves her family dearly.

Together, they love serving and love seeing our young people and people in general grow in God and live a fulfilled life. They pride themselves in providing a safe, learning environment for our youth to grow and develop in, both spiritually and naturally. Come visit them at "The Edge" on Sunday evenings @ 6:30pm!
